Under heavy braking, the thin Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution firewall is prone to flexing as the brake master cylinder is pushed forward. The GrimmSpeed brace solves this by bridging the gap between the master cylinder and the driver-side shock tower, providing a solid mechanical stop. By locking the master cylinder in place, it ensures every millimeter of pedal travel is converted into braking force rather than firewall flex.
