The HKS Airflow Less Adaptor (1599-SN003) is an essential component for high-performance builds converting to a Speed Density or MAP-based engine management system. In a factory RB26 configuration, the mass air flow (MAF) sensors can create physical intake restrictions as boost levels and power demands increase. This HKS adapter replaces the factory sensor housing with a straight-through design, eliminating that bottleneck and allowing for smoother, unrestricted airflow to the turbochargers.
Constructed to precise tolerances, this adapter ensures a secure, leak-free connection between the air intake and the turbocharger inlet pipes. It is specifically designed for use with standalone ECUs, such as the HKS F-CON V Pro, which calculate engine load without the need for a physical airflow meter.
