The HKS Hipermax R represents the ultimate evolution of performance suspension for the ZD8, succeeding the MAX IV SP series with advanced race-bred technology. This full coilover kit is engineered for drivers who demand track-focused precision without compromising the damping characteristics required for spirited street driving. Utilizing an inverted monotube design, it provides exceptional rigidity and thermal stability during high-load cornering.
- Super Response Fluid (SRF): Features a specialized damper oil that maintains consistent viscosity for immediate steering response and better damping force at low piston speeds.
- Low Vibration Spring (LVS): High-tensile strength wire springs designed to eliminate frequency interference and provide a linear, predictable suspension feel.
- Dual Piston System: Refines damping control to maximize tire contact and improve chassis composure over varied surfaces.
- 30-Way Damping Adjustment: Allows for precise tuning of compression and rebound settings to suit specific track conditions or driver preference.
- Inverted Monotube Design: Reduces unsprung weight and increases the damper's resistance to lateral forces for sharper turn-in.
