ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.0 HD Series shock absorbers are engineered to handle the increased weight and stresses of heavy-duty trucks. The HD Series features hard-anodized 6061 aluminum cylinders with increased wall thickness and taller DU bearings compared to the standard 2.0 series, providing superior side load strength and durability for the everyday driver or weekend hauler. This driver-side rear shock utilizes a remote reservoir to significantly increase oil volume and surface area, allowing for rapid heat dissipation and preventing cavitation and damping fade during towing or heavy use.

The internal linear/digressive piston is valved specifically for the GM 2500/3500 HD platform, ensuring a controlled ride both on-road and off. Like all ICON dampers, these are 100% rebuildable and revalveable. Construction includes a 5/8-inch chrome-plated hardened steel shaft and 6061 aluminum internals for maximum corrosion resistance.
