The ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.0 HD Series remote reservoir shock absorber is engineered for heavy-duty applications that demand increased durability without sacrificing ride quality. Tailored for the everyday driver and weekend adventurer, the 2.0 HD series features hard-anodized 6061 aluminum cylinders with increased wall thickness and taller DU bearings. These enhancements significantly improve pull-apart and side-load strength compared to standard 2.0 Aluminum Series shocks.
Equipped with an external remote reservoir, this shock greatly increases oil volume and heat dissipation surface area. This design prevents overheating and cavitation during hard use, ensuring consistent damping performance without fade. The monotube design is nitrogen-charged and features a 5/8-inch chrome-plated hardened steel shaft to resist corrosion and pitting.
