During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, oil vapors can accumulate in your intake tube and manifold runners. In forced induction engines like the EcoBoost V6, these increased crankcase pressures often lead to oil diluting your fuel and lowering its effective octane level. The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is designed to intercept these vapors, protecting your intake system and maintaining combustion efficiency.

Milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a multistage filtration system. Vapors first pass through a fine mesh stainless steel screen before entering a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This process forces oil droplets to coalesce and fall into the 3 oz reservoir. The knurled tank base allows for easy removal during maintenance, while the integrated O-ring seal ensures a leak-free performance.
