Fits 2020-2024 Ford Explorer Base, Limited, ST-Line, Timberline, and XLT models (2.3L EcoBoost).
Protect your EcoBoost engine from power-robbing oil vapor with the J&L Oil Separator 3.0. During the combustion process, crankcase pressure is vented back into your intake tract; this system intercepts that air, trapping oil vapors that would otherwise coat your intake manifold runners and dilute your fuel's octane level. This is especially critical for turbocharged engines where increased crankcase pressures are common.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a multistage filtration system. Vapors first pass through a fine mesh stainless steel screen, then through a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter where they condense and drop into the 3oz reservoir. The tank features a knurled base for easy removal during service and an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free fit.
