The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is designed to prevent oil vapor from being routed back into your 2.3L EcoBoost's intake system. During normal operation, crankcase pressure is vented through the PCV system; in forced-induction engines like the Bronco's turbocharged inline-four, this process can carry large amounts of oil vapor into the intake manifold, coating valves and diluting fuel octane. This separator captures those vapors before they reach your intake tract.

Milled from solid billet aluminum with a clear anodized finish, this unit features a multi-stage filtration system. It uses a fine mesh stainless steel screen to trap fine oil droplets, which then pass through a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter where they consolidate and drop into the 3 oz reservoir. The knurled tank base allows for easy removal and drainage during routine maintenance.
