Designed for the Volkswagen 2.0 TSI Turbo engine (2008+), this JE Pistons forged piston kit provides the thermal stability and structural integrity required for high-boost applications. Machined from high-tensile 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons utilize the proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design to reduce friction and reciprocating weight without compromising the strength of the piston crown or ring lands.
- Precision Engineering: 82.5mm standard bore size with a -7.1cc dome volume.
- FSR Forging: Optimized skirt width reduces surface contact to minimize power loss while improving wrist pin support.
- Enhanced Sealing: Includes an accumulator groove to manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and maintaining a consistent seal.
- Advanced Coating: Skirt coating reduces wear on both the piston and the cylinder walls during high-temperature operation and cold starts.
- Complete Assembly: Each kit includes high-quality wrist pins, wire locks, and a JE Pro Seal premium piston ring set.
