Fits select 2013+ Volkswagen 2.0L engines. This JE Pistons forged piston set is engineered specifically for high-demand performance applications, providing the structural integrity and thermal stability required for forced induction or high-output builds. Machined from 2618 high-tensile forged aluminum in the USA, these pistons are designed to handle the increased cylinder pressures of performance tuning.
The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design minimizes friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and utilizing a shorter, lighter wrist pin. For enhanced ring control, an integrated accumulator groove manages combustion gases to prevent ring flutter and maintain a superior seal at high RPMs. Each piston also features a specialized skirt coating to reduce wear on both the piston and cylinder walls while minimizing operating noise.
