This JE Pistons FSR (Forged Side Relief) series piston set is engineered for high-performance 2.0T TSI builds requiring superior strength and weight optimization. Machined 100% in the USA from high-tensile 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons utilize a proprietary forging design that reduces skirt width to minimize friction and rotational mass. The FSR design also allows for a shorter, lighter wrist pin without sacrificing the structural integrity needed for high-boost or high-RPM applications.
To ensure maximum ring seal and power consistency, these pistons feature an accumulator groove that manages combustion gas pressure to prevent ring flutter. The included skirt coating reduces wear on both the piston and the cylinder wall while dampening operating noise. Each set comes complete with premium JE Pro Seal piston rings, high-quality wrist pins, and locks for a comprehensive installation.
