Fits select 2001-2008 BMW M3, Z3 M, and Z4 M models equipped with the S54B32 3.2L inline-six engine.
Built for the rigors of high-performance driving and racing, this JE Pistons forged piston kit (MPN 297117) provides an 11.5:1 compression ratio for the BMW S54 engine. Each piston is engineered from 2618 aluminum, a high-tensile alloy capable of withstanding the extreme cylinder pressures and heat found in track and high-output street applications. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design reduces skirt width to minimize friction and weight, while the shorter wrist pins decrease reciprocating mass for improved throttle response and reliability.
