Engineered for high-performance forced induction builds, this JE Pistons forged piston set (MPN 291062) provides the durability required for the Subaru EJ257 engine. Forged from high-tensile 2618 aluminum alloy, these 100mm bore pistons feature a 8.5:1 compression ratio designed to handle increased boost levels while maintaining structural integrity under high thermal loads.
- Proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design reduces skirt width to minimize friction and overall weight.
- Accumulator grooves help manage combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and ensuring a consistent ring seal.
- Integrated skirt coating reduces friction and wear on cylinder walls while dampening operating noise.
- Forged, machined, and engineered 100% in the USA from 2618 aluminum alloy.
