Fits Subaru EJ257 engines (WRX STI). This JE Pistons forged piston set is engineered for high-output engine builds requiring a 99.75mm bore (+0.25mm overbore) and a 9.5:1 compression ratio. Machined from high-tensile 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons are specifically designed to withstand the increased cylinder pressures and thermal loads of performance-built flat-four engines.
This set utilizes JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which minimizes skirt width to reduce friction and power loss while saving weight via a shorter wrist pin. To ensure a consistent ring seal under boost, integrated accumulator grooves help manage pressure from combustion gases, preventing ring flutter. Each kit comes ready for installation with premium hardware and rings.
