Fits Volkswagen 2.0T TSI engines. Engineered for high-performance European applications, this JE Pistons forged piston set provides the strength and precision required for track and street performance. Each piston is forged from 2618 aluminum alloy in the USA, offering the high tensile strength necessary for high-demand forced induction builds.
The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design reduces skirt width to minimize friction and power loss while utilizing a shorter, lighter wrist pin to decrease reciprocating mass. Designed with integrated accumulator grooves, these pistons reduce pressure from combustion gases to prevent ring fluttering and optimize the seal. The skirts feature a specialized coating to reduce friction and wear on cylinder walls while dampening operating noise.
