Installation requires the use of chamfered wrist pins to ensure proper seating and security. Unlike spiro locks, which are installed by rotating into the groove, or tru-arc locks, which prioritize ease of installation, wire locks provide superior resistance to rotation and movement within the groove when paired with the correct hardware.
