The K&N NextGen Aluminum cold air intake system (70-1572) is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air path with a high-flow, mandrel-bent 6063 aluminum intake tube. This rigid design increases airflow volume by up to 27%, delivering dyno-proven gains of up to 13.8 horsepower and 26.4 lb-ft of torque with no ECU tuning required.
This system features a custom-designed NextGen air box that isolates the filter from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring cooler, denser air reaches the intake. It is paired with K&N's signature washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter. Constructed with oiled cotton media, this oversized conical filter allows for service intervals up to 100,000 miles under standard highway driving conditions.
