Fits 2004-2013 Mazda 3 and select Volvo C30, S40, and V50 models. This Koni Special Active shock absorber is designed for the front passenger side (right) and utilizes Koni's patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology.
Unlike electronic suspension systems, Special Active shocks use a purely mechanical valve to adapt to road conditions in real-time. This provides firm control for spirited driving and cornering while automatically softening over expansion joints and rough pavement to maintain ride comfort. This unit is an ideal replacement for worn factory dampers or as a performance upgrade for drivers seeking a better balance of handling and compliance.
