The Koni Special Active 8745 Series front strut utilizes patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology to bridge the gap between track-focused performance and daily driving comfort. This twin-tube, low-pressure gas strut automatically adjusts its damping force based on the frequency of the road input, providing firm control during aggressive cornering while remaining supple over expansion joints and rough pavement. Engineered as a direct replacement for the factory front units, it significantly enhances the stability and steering response of the 986 chassis.
