The KONI Sport 8040 Series rear shock absorber is engineered for drivers seeking improved body control and handling precision without sacrificing daily drivability. Known as the "Koni Yellow," these units feature a twin-tube, low-pressure gas design that provides consistent damping performance. A standout feature of the Sport line is the internal rebound adjustability, allowing you to fine-tune the suspension to match specific spring rates or personal driving preferences.
Designed as a direct replacement for the factory rear dampener, this shock is compatible with both OE and lowering springs. Please note that installing this component disarms the factory electronic suspension system (TEMS) if equipped.
