The KW V1 Inox-Line coilover kit is engineered for drivers seeking a balanced, sporty suspension setup with pre-configured damping. This kit replaces factory struts and springs with vehicle-specific hardware developed through rigorous testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and the KW 7-post chassis dynamics test center. By utilizing KW's proprietary Inox-Line stainless steel technology, these coilovers provide permanent corrosion resistance and a long service life, even in extreme winter conditions.
Each kit is hand-assembled in Fichtenberg, Germany, and every individual damper is dyno-tested to ensure performance accuracy before shipment. The system allows for seamless ride height adjustment within an approved range, reducing body roll and improving handling directness while maintaining adequate suspension travel.
- Construction: Inox-Line stainless steel strut housings for 100% corrosion resistance.
- Adjustment: Dirt-resistant trapezoid threads and friction-optimized polyamide composite collars for easy height tuning.
- Protection: Elastomer bump stops with integrated dust systems protect the piston rods and seals from road debris.
- Testing: Each damper is dyno-tested and assigned a unique serial number.
