The KYB Gas-a-just is a high-pressure monotube shock absorber designed to restore or exceed your vehicle's original damping capabilities. Unlike standard twin-tube designs, the Gas-a-just features two separate working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for precise control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber with a floating piston. This design provides a comfortable ride during normal cruising while offering instant responsiveness when performance is demanded.
- Monotube Design: High-pressure nitrogen gas and a floating piston prevent aeration and foaming for consistent performance without fade.
- Improved Control: Delivers significantly more damping force than standard shocks for better stability and tire contact.
- Build Quality: Replaces worn OE units to restore original handling characteristics.
- Installation Recommendation: To minimize noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (Part Number: SM5392) during replacement.
