Restore your vehicle's original handling and stability with the KYB Excel-G front strut. Designed specifically to recover factory ride control and damping characteristics, the Excel-G series is built on the same assembly lines as KYB's original equipment components. This nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube strut provides the consistent performance needed for predictable lane change responsiveness and improved stopping distances on Fox Body Mustangs.
As an OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) component, this strut uses OE-quality materials and calibration to maintain the vehicle’s intended performance rather than altering it. It replaces worn factory dampers to eliminate wallowing and front-end dive. For optimal protection against road debris and salt, KYB recommends pairing this installation with strut boot SB103 (sold separately).
