The Manley Platinum Series piston set is engineered for high-performance EJ205 builds utilizing a 79mm stroker crankshaft—a +4mm increase over the factory stroke. These pistons are forged from domestic 2618 high-strength alloy to withstand the increased cylinder pressures of forced induction applications. To ensure maximum precision, Manley utilizes a unique manufacturing process where skirt turning and ring groove machining are completed in a single operation, resulting in ultimate squareness and improved ring seal.
Each piston features optimized cam and barrel (skirt) profiles to minimize friction while protecting cylinder walls. The skirts are finished with a moly coating for reduced wear during cold starts and high-load operation. This set includes premium chrome moly wrist pins and a high-performance ring set to complete your bottom-end assembly.
