The Manley Platinum Series piston set is engineered for high-performance engine builds requiring tight tolerances and superior material strength. These pistons are forged from domestic 2618 aluminum alloy and feature specialized cam and barrel skirt profiles designed to reduce cylinder wall friction while maintaining stability at high RPM. Every piston undergoes a unique fixturing process where the skirt turning and ring groove machining are completed in a single operation, ensuring absolute squareness for optimized ring seal and power retention.
