These pistons are manufactured from domestic 2618 aluminum alloy forgings, providing the structural integrity required for professional engine builds and high-boost applications.
Manley utilizes a unique manufacturing process where skirt turning and ring groove machining are completed in a single operation. This ensures ultimate squareness between the ring lands and the skirt, promoting superior ring seal and reducing blow-by. The cam and barrel skirt profiles are specifically designed to minimize friction and cylinder wall wear while maintaining stability under load at high RPM.
