Engineered for professional engine builds and high-boost applications, these Manley Platinum Series pistons are forged from high-strength domestic 2618 aluminum alloy. To ensure maximum power and durability, Manley uses a unique fixturing process that machines the skirt and ring grooves in a single operation, guaranteeing perfect squareness for superior ring seal. Each piston features specifically engineered cam and barrel skirt profiles that reduce friction and minimize wear on the cylinder walls.
These pistons come equipped with premium chrome moly wrist pins and high-performance piston rings. The exacting tolerances of the ring lands and grooves provide the high-pressure seal required for the MZR 2.3L turbocharged engine.
