Designed for high-performance Nissan SR20DE and SR20DET engines, this Manley Platinum Series piston set is engineered to handle the thermal and mechanical stresses of increased boost and high-RPM operation. These pistons are forged from domestic 2618 alloy for superior structural integrity and feature a 9.0:1 dish profile ideal for forced induction setups. Manley utilizes a unique single-operation fixturing process for skirt turning and ring groove machining, ensuring perfect squareness for a superior ring seal and maximum power output.
The 86.5mm (+0.5mm oversized) bore provides a displacement increase and requires a precision overbore of the factory cylinder block. Each set includes high-quality piston rings and premium Chrome Moly wrist pins, which are standard for this series to provide the durability required by professional engine builders and tuners.
