This dual-disc setup utilizes ceramic friction liners to provide smooth engagement and heat resistance, paired with a pressure plate design that results in a lighter-than-stock pedal feel.
This specific kit (MPN 6918-07) is a complete dedicated unit, meaning it includes a McLeod billet steel flywheel specifically balanced and matched for the GT500 drivetrain. By choosing the steel flywheel version, drivers benefit from increased inertia which helps maintain RPM during launches and provides smoother low-speed operation compared to lighter aluminum alternatives.
