By shielding the oil in the sump from the windage created by the rotating crankshaft, this baffle significantly reduces oil aeration and foam. This ensures a consistent, solid supply of oil to the pickup tube, protecting your bearings during high-G cornering, hard acceleration, and heavy braking.
