The Öhlins Road & Track suspension system is engineered for the enthusiast who demands precise chassis control on the circuit without sacrificing the ride quality necessary for the drive home. At the core of this system is the patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology, which allows the damper to respond quickly to surface irregularities by providing an internal bleed path. This maintains tire contact and stability where traditional performance suspensions often become unsettled.
Built with a monotube damper architecture, the NIS MI31S1 system ensures consistent damping performance through better heat dissipation. The front features strengthened inverted struts to resist lateral loads during heavy cornering, while the rear utilizes lightweight aluminum shock bodies to reduce unsprung weight. With over 20 clicks of damping adjustment and independent ride height control, drivers can fine-tune the GT-R's balance for specific track conditions or street comfort.
