Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs are engineered as a complete suspension solution to provide superior ride performance and handling regardless of terrain. Unlike standard springs, these feature a two-stage leaf pack design that maintains ride comfort when unladen while providing the necessary support for heavy cargo or commercial applications. Every spring is shot-peened and fully scragged to eliminate sagging and increase service life under stress.

- Military Wrap Design: Provides additional safety by wrapping the second leaf around the main spring eye.
- Anti-Friction Pads: Re-greasable nylon interleaf pads reduce friction at leaf tips and eliminate squeaks.
- Draw-Tapered Leaves: Diamond-cut and tapered ends ensure even load distribution and reduced stress at leaf tips.
- Flat Axle Seat: Provides a positive, safe axle mount to reduce spring tension and improve stability.
