Fits select 2006-2015 Honda Civic (including Si and Hybrid) and 2013-2018 Acura ILX models. This upgrade is designed to minimize body roll and increase chassis stiffness for improved handling and tire contact.
The Progress Technology 62.1009 rear sway bar replaces the smaller factory unit and soft rubber bushings with a larger diameter solid alloy steel bar and high-durometer polyurethane bushings. By increasing roll stiffness, the bar prevents the outside tires from rolling onto the sidewalls, maintaining a flatter contact patch and reducing the understeer typical of front-wheel-drive platforms. Each bar is cold-formed in-house using precision CNC bending and features MIG-welded ends for an exact fit to factory mounting points.
