By bypassing the muffler, you reduce backpressure for track days while maintaining the ability to return to a factory-quiet idle for daily driving.
Each QTEC valve is engineered for the harsh environment of an exhaust system. The body is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum to prevent leaks and provide a stable mounting platform for the high-torque DC gear motor. The internal butterfly plate and shaft are constructed from stainless steel to resist corrosion and heat-cycling fatigue, ensuring the valve seals tight every time it is closed.
