This compact unit allows tuners and builders to set independent fuel pressures for each system while utilizing a single fuel feed input, significantly simplifying engine bay plumbing.
Beyond basic regulation, the DFPR architecture is specifically engineered to suppress the aggressive pressure spikes inherent in mechanical, positive-displacement plunger-type High-Pressure Fuel Pumps (HPFP). By dampening these pulses, the DFPR protects fuel system components and ensures more stable pressure readings for more accurate tuning.
