The Rancho RS5000X RS55373 front shock absorber features a twin-tube design and exclusive Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV). This advanced valving system is custom-tuned to provide a smooth ride during low-speed crawling while maintaining firm control during high-speed impacts. Cross Tuned technology integrates a specific rebound valving system and advanced compression phase to improve handling both on-road and off-road.
Engineered for durability in harsh environments, this shock is equipped with a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod for superior scuff and corrosion resistance. The 35mm sintered iron piston and double-welded loops provide structural integrity at critical stress points, while the nitrogen gas charge (pressurized to 150 PSI) minimizes aeration and prevents damping fade during high-cycle use.
