Fits 2005-2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD/2WD models (King Ranch, Lariat, Platinum, XL, XLT). This RS5000X rear shock absorber is engineered to improve handling and reduce ride harshness on and off-road.
The Rancho RS5000X features a large 2.25-inch twin-tube body and Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV). This system uses custom-tuned rebound and compression phases to absorb initial impacts at low speeds while maintaining control during aggressive maneuvers. Built for durability, it utilizes a 35mm sintered iron piston for structural integrity and a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion in harsh environments.
- Nitrogen Gas Charged: Pressurized to 150 PSI to minimize air-to-oil foaming and performance fade.
- All-Weather Performance: Filled with fluid rated for internal temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F.
- Robust Construction: Features double-welded loops at stress points and a fluon-banded piston for a consistent seal.
- Protection Included: Comes with a polyvinyl protective boot to shield the rod and oil seal from debris.
