The Rancho RS5000X RS55042 front shock absorber is engineered for drivers who demand precise handling and improved control both on and off-road. Utilizing an advanced Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV) system, this shock provides a custom-tuned response that reduces initial impact at low speeds while maintaining firm control during aggressive maneuvers. The large twin-tube body is nitrogen-gas pressurized to 150 PSI, significantly reducing aeration and shock fade while managing internal temperatures from -40°F to 248°F.
