Engineered for high-performance handling on and off the trail, the Rancho RS7MT (Monotube) shock absorber is specifically tuned to dissipate heat rapidly. The 2-inch diameter monotube body is filled with all-weather fluid and pressurized with high-pressure nitrogen gas to reduce oil aeration and shock fade during aggressive driving or when running larger wheel and tire packages. This design is capable of withstanding internal temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F.

Construction features include a large 46mm fluon-banded piston for consistent sealing and a 14mm hardened chrome piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion. For added durability, an integrated dirt wiper seal protects the internal components from moisture and debris, while an internal rebound bumper and shouldered rubber bushings help dampen noise, vibration, and ride harshness (NVH).
