The RockJock Johnny Joint (CE-9113N-14) is a narrow forged rod end engineered for custom suspension fabricators and builders who require maximum articulation and vibration dampening. This 2-1/2 inch Johnny Joint provides 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction—nearly double the 22 degrees offered by traditional heim joints. By utilizing high-density urethane bushings to encase the inner ball, this joint provides essential cushioning and noise isolation that standard metal-on-metal rod ends cannot deliver.
Constructed for heavy-duty applications, the joint features a forged body with a gold zinc plated finish for superior corrosion resistance. The heat-treated center ball is cross-drilled for through-bolt lubrication, ensuring the internals remain greased even under high-load cycles. All internal components are securely retained by two heat-treated side washers and a heavy-duty snap ring.
