The RockJock Johnny Joint forged rod end is engineered for custom suspension fabricators and chassis builders who require maximum articulation without the harshness of a standard heim joint. This 2-1/2 inch diameter joint provides 30 degrees of unrestricted movement, offering a significant increase over the 22-degree range found in typical spherical bearings. The internal high-density urethane bushings encase the inner ball to provide essential vibration dampening and cushioning for off-road use.
Durability is handled by a heat-treated center ball that is cross-drilled for efficient thru-bolt lubrication. The internals are secured within the forged housing by two heat-treated side washers and a heavy-duty snap ring. Finished in gold zinc plating for corrosion resistance, this joint includes an integrated zerk fitting for easy maintenance. Note: Thru-bolt is not included.
