Skunk2 Black Series Rear Lower Control Arms are designed to replace worn factory components while enhancing suspension geometry for street and track performance. Based on the same technology used in Skunk2's professional race cars for over a decade, these arms are forged from aircraft-quality 2024 billet aluminum and precision CNC-machined. This construction results in a component that is more than 25% lighter than the original equipment (OE) steel arms without sacrificing structural integrity.

Each arm features a specific I-beam shape and tapered design, developed through extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA). This geometry eliminates internal stress risers, twisting, and bending that often plague flat-profile control arms. For advanced tuning, Skunk2 includes adjustable anti-sway bar mounting holes to allow for precise suspension balancing. The arms are equipped with low-deflection polyurethane bushings that act as bearings, allowing the arm to rotate freely and eliminating the tearing or un-seating common with fixed rubber bushings.
