Skunk2 Gold Anodized Rear Lower Control Arms (LCAs) are engineered to enhance suspension response and reduce unsprung weight for improved handling performance. Each arm is CNC-machined from forged 2024 billet aluminum, providing a 25% weight reduction compared to factory stamped-steel arms. This high-strength I-beam design was developed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to eliminate stress risers and resist twisting or bending under heavy cornering loads.
These LCAs utilize low-deflection polyurethane bushings that function as bearings, allowing the arm to rotate freely and eliminating the binding or tearing common with standard rubber bushings. For advanced tuning, Skunk2 integrates adjustable anti-sway bar mounting holes to help you achieve the perfect suspension balance for street or track applications. Each set includes the necessary custom hardware and a specialty socket tool for installation.
