Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to provide a significant improvement in ride quality and suspension flex without compromising the durability required for off-road use. Unlike traditional leaf springs that can feel stiff or binding, Softride springs utilize a progressive multi-leaf design and tapered leaf ends to distribute loads evenly and reduce the tendency for leaves to dig into one another.

Each individual leaf is constructed from American steel and shot-peened with high-velocity steel pellets. This process compresses the steel's surface, significantly increasing tensile strength and allowing for maximum wheel travel without sacrificing spring life. Skyjacker also uses bolt-style spring clips to eliminate the binding and friction common with OE-style bend clips, ensuring smooth articulation through the entire suspension cycle.
