The SPEC SC40A-2 aluminum flywheel is engineered to reduce rotational mass, allowing for significantly faster throttle response and improved acceleration. By replacing the heavy factory flywheel with a lightweight billet aluminum unit, you reduce the engine's moment of inertia, letting the turbo spool and the engine rev more freely. This is a critical upgrade for high-performance builds where power delivery and engine braking responsiveness are priorities.
