SPL Parts Front Tension Rods (TR) allow for precise front caster adjustment to optimize turn-in response and compensate for chassis variances. These rods replace factory rubber bushings with low-friction 3/4-inch FK Spherical Bearings, eliminating the "mushy" steering feel and bushing deflection common under heavy cornering or braking loads.
The rods are engineered for maximum strength-to-weight ratio, featuring 1-3/8 inch diameter billet 6061-T6 aluminum that is precision CNC machined and gun-drilled to reduce unsprung weight. For rapid and accurate alignment changes, the assembly includes an exclusive 4130 Chromoly double adjuster. Weight savings are further optimized through the use of blue anodized titanium hardware and gun-drilled adjusters without sacrificing structural integrity.
