The sPOD BantamX (BXUNI36ADD) is an 8-circuit power distribution and control system designed to expand an existing sPOD setup. This add-on unit provides a clean, centralized way to power and manage 12V or 24V DC accessories without cutting or tapping into the vehicle’s factory electrical system. Note: This is an expansion unit and requires at least one existing sPOD controller to operate.
- 8 circuits rated at 30 amps at 12.5 VDC per circuit
- Current-sensing MOSFETs controlled by a microprocessor (eliminates traditional fuses and relays)
- 36-inch nylon braided battery cables using hi-strand crosslinked copper wire with a silicone jacket
- Integrated low voltage cutoff (LVCO) battery protection with optional override
- Failsafe self-healing fault protection system (1.5 to 30 amps)
- Protection against overheating, over-current, shorts, reverse polarity, and field collapse
- Powder-coated steel base with an aluminum lid and silicone gasket for weatherproofing
- Built-in Bluetooth capabilities for remote management via the sPOD mobile app
- Includes 100-amp in-line fuse and 16-position terminal block for accessory attachment
