Lifting a 100 Series Land Cruiser increases the operating angle of the front CV (constant velocity) joints. This steeper angle accelerates joint wear and places excessive stress on the CV boots, often leading to splitting and premature failure. The SuperPro TRCLC100DD differential drop kit is a direct bolt-on solution designed to restore proper axle geometry by lowering the front differential approximately 25mm.
By reducing the angles at which the CV joints operate, this kit helps prevent the high costs associated with replacing axles and boots. This modification is especially critical for vehicles equipped with larger or wider wheels and tires, which further accelerate drivetrain wear.
