The Superwinch SX12 Series Winch (MPN 1712200) provides 12,000 lbs of raw pulling power engineered for modern off-road recovery. Designed to exceed demanding standards, this 12V DC winch features a sealed 6.0 HP motor and a 3-stage planetary gear system with a 231:1 ratio for consistent torque and line speed. The assembly is finished in a durable metallic graphite powder coat and carries an IP68 rating for complete dustproof and waterproof operation in extreme environments.
Standard features include a relocatable die-cast aluminum control box and a clockable gearbox to accommodate various bumper and mounting configurations. For low-light operations, the SX12 includes a patented IP68-rated drum light and a 12-foot wired remote equipped with an integrated rechargeable lithium-ion LED flashlight. Safety is managed by an automatic mechanical brake capable of holding 100% of the rated load.
