Manufactured from high-tensile 17-7 PH stainless steel, these springs are designed to withstand the extreme thermal cycling and high-heat environment of a wastegate housing without losing tension or fatigue. Replacing a worn spring or swapping rates is essential for maintaining accurate boost targets and preventing overboost conditions or slow spool-up caused by a weakened actuator.
